New Beginnings of HOPE

Life sometimes takes a turn for even those with the best of intentions. After a long break in order to get life back on track founder Leslie returns with not only a new name but many more ideas and goals for the future.  HOPE``~ Helping Other People Everyday, there is a lot to come just wait and see.

Feeding the homeless

The Bear Den has decided one way we can help in Klamath county is to feed one of the most vulnerable members of the community, the homeless. Right now it is set for every couple months but we hope to be able to do it monthly and even one day more often. With donations and help from the community the organization collects supplies needed to cook and prepare a large meal then package it nice and fresh into individual portions. Spending an afternoon driving around town handing out the hot meal to anyone hungry! February is the first meal, Spaghetti and Garlic bread.

We are Back!!

As of October 2021, The Bear Den is re-open to the public. we are not accepting donations of general items yet due to no storage space but are helping clients as needed and hosting events! So, watch for us, join our Facebook group to see regular updates, posts, and pictures of all we are up to. We are super excited for 2022 and can't wait to see what's in store for us in our new community!

We have relocated

Due to our own life changes, as of May 2020 We are no longer in Tillamook County. We have loved being part of such an amazing caring community and will miss it dearly, but its time life moves forward. We will be re-establishing the organization as soon as we are able to in our new community of Klamath county, Southern Oregon. Keep watching here and on the Facebook group for updates and more info.

When a need is brought to our attention we jump into action

A Disabled elderly pair of siblings living together were having issues obtaining basic needs due to covid 19 restrictions. So with the help of local market "Manzanita Fresh Foods" and many locals we were able to collect a truck load of essentials and deliver them to the pair and their fur babies.
